Great trails for hiking (Billy Goat trail). Lots of history connecting the C&O canal system with commerce in Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA.
Great for outdoor lovers and hiking. Lot of trails to visit along the river. Billy Goat Trail A is a challenging one and extreme. The canals demonstrate the transportation mode a century ago.
Very well kept park. There is plenty of parking space.
This was awesome the great falls were pretty epic... and I've seen some waterfalls...
